New Study Proves That Fish Feel Pain

PETA has always maintained the commonsense idea that fish, like every other animal, can feel pain and suffer. Now, findings from a new study conducted by Edinburgh University and the Roslin Institute in the U.K. have proved exactly that. While this may not come as shocking news to the millions of people worldwide who were already opposed to fishing, it is nonetheless a very encouraging study, one that we hope will convince anglers, if they have any decency at all, to lay down their rods and read a book on the riverbank instead.
